New in Mind Caddie: Karl AI meets your Arccos stats, PAR 18, and Randy Joyner AI

Karl AI now reads your Arccos stats alongside your journal and scorecards. Plus the PAR 18 scorecard and Randy Joyner AI, now in Mind Caddie.

The whole picture of your game

Most golfers keep their game in separate boxes. The stats live in one app. The swing lives with a coach, or on YouTube. The mental side, if it gets any attention at all, lives in their head, usually at the worst possible moment.

The trouble is that golf doesn't work in boxes. A three-putt affects your next tee shot. A loose swing under pressure is often a mental problem in disguise. And a number on a stats screen means very little until you understand what was going on when you made it.

This autumn we've added three things to Mind Caddie that bring those pieces together:

  • Karl AI now reads your Arccos stats alongside your journal and scorecards.
  • The PAR 18 scorecard, Karl's short-game game, is now built into the app.
  • Randy Joyner AI, a PGA Tour swing coach who connects the swing to the mental side.

Here's what each one does, and how to get the most from it.

‍

1. Karl AI now reads your Arccos stats

Arccos tells you what happened. Your Mind Caddie journal and scorecards tell you why. Now Karl AI can look at both together.

Share a screenshot of your Arccos round or stats with Karl AI, and Karl reads it alongside what you've already logged in Mind Caddie: your journal entries, your Mental Scorecard and your training scores. Then he coaches you on the full picture, not one half of it.

That changes the conversation. Instead of "my putting was poor", you get something closer to this:

Your strokes gained on the greens dropped on the back nine, and that's the same stretch where your Mental Scorecard shows you stopped committing to your routine. Let's look at what was happening in your head before those putts.

A few ways golfers are using it:

  • After a round: share your Arccos summary and ask Karl what the numbers are really telling you.
  • Before a competition: ask Karl to spot patterns across your recent rounds and journal, then build a simple plan for the day.
  • When a part of your game goes cold: let Karl separate a skill problem from a mental one, so you work on the right thing.

Arccos is a Mind Caddie partner, and this is the first step in bringing your on-course data and your mental game into the same room.

2. The PAR 18 scorecard

On the course, every shot counts. On the practice green, almost none do. That gap is why so many golfers feel sharp in practice and then fall apart when it matters.

Karl created PAR 18 to close that gap. It's a short-game game he has used with tour players for well over a decade, including US Open champion Graeme McDowell. It takes about 15 minutes, and it's now built into Mind Caddie as its own scorecard.

How to play

  1. Take one ball (the one you play with), your chipping clubs and your putter to the short-game area.
  2. Pick nine different spots around the green: three easy, three medium and three difficult.
  3. Each spot is a par 2. Chip on, then hole out.
  4. Go through your full routine on every shot, exactly as you would on the course.
  5. Log your score for each hole in the app. Par is 18.
  6. Play it once a day, no more.

The rules are simple, but that's the point: one ball, one location, one chance, and a score. That's what the real game asks of you.

Your first score might be 24. That's fine; it's an honest reading of where your short game is today. Keep playing and watch it come down. When it reaches 21, you don't just feel better around the greens. You have the numbers to prove it. Over time, a missed green on the course starts to look like an opportunity rather than a threat.

Your PAR 18 history sits alongside your other scorecards, so Karl AI can see how your short game is trending too.

3. Meet Randy Joyner AI

We've always believed the mental game matters most. But we also hear from plenty of golfers who say, quite fairly, "I still need help with my swing."

Randy Joyner is the answer to that. Randy is a US-based swing coach who works with PGA Tour players and college golfers chasing a tour career. He is also a certified Mind Factor coach, trained by Karl. That combination is rare: a swing coach who understands that how you think shapes how you move.

Randy's approach is to simplify. Rather than piling on swing thoughts, he gives you the few that matter and shows you how they hold up under pressure. You may already know his "Done in an Hour" swing content inside the app. Randy Joyner AI now lets you put your own questions to him, any time.

Use Randy AI when you want to:

  • Understand what's causing a recurring miss, in plain language.
  • Find one simple feel to take to the course, rather than five to fight with.
  • Work out whether a problem is really in your swing, or in your head.

And when the answer turns out to be in your head, Karl AI is one tap away. Between them, the swing and the mental side finally talk to each other.

Watch it in action: PROOF

This week we released the first episode of PROOF, our new golf documentary series.

The premise is simple and a little uncomfortable. I'm 39, and I'm trying to get to scratch before I turn 40 so I can enter Open Qualifying. Karl is coaching me on the mental game only. No swing changes. Every round, every setback and every breakthrough is on camera.

Here's the part we most want you to know: there's nothing in PROOF you can't access yourself. The ideas Karl teaches me, the way he gets me to train and the way I track my mental game are all inside Mind Caddie, in his lessons, programs, scorecards and Karl AI. You're not watching a method that's out of reach. You're watching the same app you already have, used week in, week out.

The first three episodes land weekly, then a new episode every month after that. Watch it, then try the same session yourself.

  2. After your next round, share your Arccos screenshot with Karl AI and ask what it's really telling you.
  3. Ask Randy Joyner AI about the one miss that costs you most.

Your stats, your swing and your mind have always been part of the same game. Now they're in the same place.

See you out there,

Ben and Karl
